Introduced Post War, mono-construction applied to the Wolseley 6/80 and the smaller Wolseley 4/50. See also the Morris Six MS.
Although introduced in 1948, the Wolseley 6/80 was to remain a rare sight on British roads until the fifties due to the concentration on the export market.
The Wolseley 6/80 is particularly remembered as the apparent police car of choice for the early fifties.
