Members attending the North West Wolseley Owners Club Christmas Lunch on Sunday 30th November 2014, enjoyed a hearty three course meal.

The Walton Fox in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire, is a country pub and restaurant and was said to ooze rural charm and rustic character. It certainly did. What a lovely place.

Two of our members attended in their Wolseley 4/44 and another two attended in their Wolseley Six.

The Six had had new seat facings and carpets fitted – very nice indeed. Others members attended in their moderns.

Members chatted over starters such as beer battered mushrooms in a spicy dip, followed by turkey or beef with all the trimmings and finished with a selection of mouth watering desserts including new and old favourites such as peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake, sherry trifle and others.

Some opted for the sharing dessert like Phillip, our Chairman and Webmaster and Cattie, our Scotland Area Contact (new couple) – how romantic.
