Lavenham Rare Breeds Motor Show 2012

The Wolseley Owners Club visited the ‘Rare Breeds Motor Show’ for the first time, in the finest medieval village of Lavenham in Suffolk, in the South of England, on Bank Holiday Monday 27th August 2012.

Attending the show on the club stand were our members Nine, a 15/50, a 16/60 and a 4/44. Three other Wolseleys were at the show, a Wasp, a 1500 and a Wolseley Hornet Special from the Wolseley Hornet Special Club. Members attending, enjoyed the day and chatted with the other Wolseley individual entries owners, at the show.

The show attracted around 500 unique and unusual vehicles. Prior to arrival at the show, the Wolseley Owners Club team drove through sunny Lavenham which has some beautiful timber framed buildings. The village did Lavenham proud at this show, which not only featured many stunning classics, but also a Jazz band, an African band, various animals and birds, stalls, amusements and other entertainments. Another superb event over the weekend.
