17 Feb Cumbrian Lunch – 17th February 2013
We enjoyed a lovely lunch with some of our Cumbrian members at the Sandford Arms, Appleby in Cumbria, North West England on Sunday 17th February.
The weather travelling up to Cumbria through the mountains on the motorway, was superb – warm and very sunny. Is this the start of better weather to come – we hope?!
A great three course lunch was enjoyed by all and much Wolseley talk could be heard, restorations, events and where to source that all important part.
Our youngest member was present, who had travelled from Lancashire to see everyone with his mum and dad. Now 4 months, young James was very alert and joined in with the chat and laughter. He even had one or two conversations of his own with different members, not at all shy!
We look forward to seeing members at the Fettlers Wharf, Rufford, in Lancashire on Sunday 24th February.
