Classic Car Spectacular

Classic Car Spectacular, Tatton Park 2013

A fantastic weekend was enjoyed by all Wolseley Owners Club members and guests on our stand, attending the Classic Car Spectacular at Tatton Park in Cheshire on 1st and 2nd June 2013.

Twenty-two cars were on the stand over the weekend, a great range of Wolseleys, which were much admired by all. Models included a 1930’s Nine, 1940’s Eights, 1940’s 25 HP Limousine, 1950’s 4/44’s, 1950’s 15/50, 1960’s 1300, 1960’s 16/60, 1960’s 18/85’s, 1970’s Six and two superb classic Jaguars.

A brilliant auto jumble was on over the weekend and over 80 car clubs, trades and others, all enjoyed the hot, sunny weather on the park. We could not have asked for better. A huge thank you to Stuart Holmes, Exhibits Organiser, Cheshire Auto Promotions, who did everyone proud.

Thanks to the team and members that brought their Wolseleys along to the club stand and to two guests with their Jaguars and to Sarah, our Merchandise Officer and Mark, our Finance Director who made a lovely buffet for our members and brought along the new merchandise of fleeces, t-shirts and shirts, pictured. Our kettles were on all weekend, thanks to Keith, Deputy Chairman and Shelley and everyone enjoyed tea, coffee and cool soft drinks. Much chatting about Wolseleys was heard, from where our members had been to, to their restorations and other maintenance. What a super weekend.
