38th Scottish Transport Extravaganza 2012

The 38th Scottish Transport Extravaganza was held in the grounds of Glamis Castle on 7th – 8th July 2012, the Castle providing a magnificent backdrop to the event.

 

Members of the Wolseley Owners Club were present displaying a Wolseley 1500, and a 1933 Wolseley 21/60 Landaulette, amongst other Wolseleys at the event.

 

Over 1300 vehicles were on show over the weekend including veteran, vintage and classic cars, commercials, military, tractors, steam engines and motor cycles.

 

A special display comprising of vehicles representing each year of the Queens sovereignty celebrated the Queens Jubilee and the transport during her reign.

 

Additionally there were parades of all vehicles, with pipe bands, a static display of a magnificent Fairground Organ and also Birds of Prey.
