Introduced on 11th July 1935 the ‘New Fourteen’ saloon car replaced the earlier ‘Fourteen‘ model.
The wheels of the New Fourteen are of the pressed steel variety, not wired as per the earlier model, and the body also widened improving its appearance considerably.
Approximately 5790 were produced, to be replaced barely a year later by the Series II – 14/56 on 26th June 1936.
